We have been having fun these last few weeks of school. We have been doing a lot of experiments and the kiddos have just loved it. The first experiment was the "watermelon explosion." How many rubber bands does it take to make a watermelon explode??? A Lot!! But we were persistent and made it happen!!
Our next experiment was the "Mentos and Diet Coke" experiment. The kids had to guess what would happen when we put the candy inside the pop. We received answers from "nothing will happen, it will explode, and it will just make the pop minty and yummie." The kids loved the reaction of the experiment and couldn't believe how high the pop went into the air.
We also did "Bubbles, Bubbles and more Bubbles." Each child got to experiment with their own bubble blower and make bubble snakes. After that we did the "giant bubble" and each child got to stand in the middle and be encased inside their own bubble. They loved it and thought it was pretty cool to be put inside a bubble.
