Your Child's Support Team
Big Support for Little Learners
At LUCDA, your child is supported by more than just a classroom teacher.
Behind every child is a team of caring, experienced professionals working together to support their growth, development, and success.
Each member of our team plays an important role in helping children feel safe, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for school and life.
We believe that when families understand who is supporting their child, it builds trust, connection, and stronger outcomes for everyone.

Early Childhood Educator
Our Early Childhood Educators are the heart of the classroom.
They create safe, nurturing environments where children can learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. They guide daily routines, support social and emotional development, and help children build the foundational skills needed for school readiness.
They also partner closely with families to ensure each child’s needs are understood and supported.

Speech-Language Pathologist
Speech-Language Pathologists support children in developing communication skills.
They work with children who may need extra support with speech, language, understanding, and expression. Through play-based and structured activities, they help children build confidence in communicating their needs, thoughts, and ideas.
They also collaborate with teachers and families to support communication growth across all environments.

Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapists help children develop the skills needed for everyday activities.
This includes fine motor skills like holding a pencil, using utensils, and completing tasks independently. They also support sensory needs, helping children feel comfortable, regulated, and ready to learn.
Their goal is to build independence and confidence in daily routines.

Special Education Teachers
Special Education Teachers provide individualized support for children with unique learning needs.
They work with children who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting instruction and activities to meet each child where they are. They collaborate closely with classroom staff and families to ensure children receive the support they need to succeed.
Their focus is on helping every child reach their full potential.

Family Resource Workers
Family Resource Workers support the whole family—not just the child.
They help connect families with community resources, provide guidance and support, and assist with navigating services when needed. They are a key partner in building strong relationships between families and the program.
They are here to support you every step of the way.

The Team Behind the Scenes
In addition to the team working directly with children, LUCDA is supported by a wide range of dedicated professionals and support staff who help make our programs possible each day. This includes bus drivers and monitors, kitchen staff, educational assistants, specialists, and office team members—all working together to support a safe, nurturing, and well-run environment for children and families.
Together, this team works behind the scenes and alongside one another to ensure children, families, and our community are supported every step of the way.
Working Together for Your Child
At LUCDA, our team works collaboratively to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
We believe that strong communication between families and staff creates the best outcomes for children. If you ever have questions about your child’s development or the support they are receiving, we encourage you to reach out.
We are here for you—and we are honored to be part of your child’s journey.
