Give your child a strong start—and gain

support for your whole family. Head Start

supports children ages 3 to 5 and their

families during some of the most important

years of development.

At LUCDA, our Head Start program provides high-quality early learning experiences while partnering closely with families. We believe parents and caregivers are a child’s first and most important teachers, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Children in Head Start build the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond—socially, emotionally, and academically—through engaging classroom experiences, caring teachers, and structured learning. Families receive support too. Our program connects you with helpful resources, health and developmental services, and opportunities to stay involved in your child’s growth and education.

Why it Matters?

The early years shape a child’s future. Participating in Head Start helps build confidence, strengthen learning, and create a solid foundation for lifelong success.

We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity and enroll if eligible.

Head Start is more than a preschool program—it’s a partnership that supports your child and your family.
